The Role: Associate Director, In-Business Controls (Operating Office)
This role is central to S&P Global Ratings' efforts to develop and maintain first-class procedures to manage risk and control within S&P Global Ratings' Operating Office.

Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects to help mature the procedures to manage risk and control within S&P Global Ratings' Operating Office
- Conduct a post-implementation review of the effectiveness of the change
- Program manage transformative and continuous improvement initiatives in IBC, including tracking progress of own and others' work and reporting / escalating as appropriate
- Drive changes through to completion, including, where applicable, drafting or updating procedure manuals and policies, reviewing IT user stories and overseeing change management/training activities
- Support regulatory and other requests for information, as required
- Support ongoing working groups and/or oversight committees, as required
- Support risk assessments and control testing, as required
- Strengthen the monitoring of our key controls within the Operating Office
- Strengthen the assessment of risks within the Operating Office
- Strengthen the governance of findings and action plans, including tracking the status of MAPs and support the reporting of MAPs to senior management.
- Strengthen the analysis and reporting of operating risk data for the Operating Office
- Initially, support improvements to End User Computing program across the S&P Global Ratings division
- Partner with colleagues across S&P Global to design and execute higher EUC management and procurement standards
- Support the design and execution of tracking and reporting of key deadlines and EUC information
- Support the EUC management risk and controls testing, as required
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ Years in the Financial Services Industry or similar professional work environment
- Knowledge of operating in a regulated entity
- Excellent communication skills, including an ability to influence stakeholders across the organization, to speak effectively in small and large-group settings, and to write clearly in internal memos, presentations and e-mails
- Able to manage complexity, including in troubleshooting problems or in developing process or other solutions
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexible and accommodating work ethic in an ever-changing work schedule
- Able to make decisions independently and unsupervised

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $134,400 to $279,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
