The Team/The Business: The index business is a fast growing, high margin intellectual property licensing and data business catering to asset managers, banks, exchanges, and investors globally. A small, dynamic team affords exposure to a wide variety of projects.
The Impact: This is a high-impact role in the Innovation Team of S&P Dow Jones Indices ("S&P DJI") focusing on the development and commercial rollout of new products. The successful applicant will enhance our ability to serve our clients efficiently and effectively. Individual will support strategic objectives, including digital transformation.
The Opportunity : This Role will give applicant the opportunity to apply analytic and project management disciplines to successful launch and commercialization of indices, including those focused on cryptocurrencies and sentiment data. This role will also focus in areas such as digital transformation, competitive analysis, deal analysis and market research.
Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)

Support efforts to transition to digital markets - including opportunities with Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Connect with the digital and fintech ecosystem to understand market trends

Assist in incubation of new indices, including those using cryptocurrencies, sentiment, and cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning.

Work with internal teams to support development of new indices and to drive adoption of new indices
-
Support product improvements or enhancements.

Develop and update collateral and reports to prepare for internal and external meetings
Qualifications :
-
5+ years of generalized experience
-
2+ years of financial services experience
-
Demonstrated interest in cryptocurrencies, DeFi, Web3, digital transformation
-
Strong Excel skills (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, data, filters). Experience analyzing data for the purpose of developing solutions.

Strong PowerPoint Skills.

Solid communication skills, verbal and written, as well as the capacity to expand, learn, and contribute.

Team player, proactive attitude, and good time management skills. Self-starter, collaborative.
-
Highly organized, meet deadlines and work under time pressure.

Understanding of capital markets.

Recent MBA a plus.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,100 to $228,700. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
