The Team: The S&P Global Corporate Commercial Team is responsible for optimizing relationships and commercial outcomes for over 1,000 of the largest companies in the U.S & Canada. Responsibilities:
* Market & sell ESG products into Corporations while providing high touch client service to communicate S&P's value proposition and contribute to sustainability sales goal within your assigned book of accounts.
* Navigate complex organizations, understand client's culture, identify internal and external decision makers, and influence their decision-making process.
* Leverage communication and negotiation skills to gain user acceptance and optimize revenue.
* Develop and implement creative sales strategies for complex clients across S&P's sustainable product portfolio.
* Track customer & industry developments and trends and respond accordingly.
* Diagnose and understand customer problems and identify ways to help clients address them.
* Coach and mentor junior team members
What We're Looking For:
* Strong presentation and communication skills with outstanding relationship management and sales record.
* Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams.
* Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with the C-Suite, addressing their needs, and elevating their customer experience.
* Exceptional skills in listening to clients while articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner.
* Sound ability to analyze client information quickly, respond logically, and use data to influence client purchase decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or MBA (Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or related field preferred)
* 7+ years of sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with/passion about ESG & sustainability in the world of corporate finance
* Knowledge of finance and accounting principles
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $222,493 plus performance-based incentives. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
