Student Worker
The Team: Student Worker is an Individual Contributor, although the candidate should be a team player. Capable of build strong relationship with the team.
The Impact: Under direct supervision, gathers and maintains information using established procedures and documented checklists. Has a basic business background and is in the process of developing basic analytical abilities. Most work is transactional. Prepares material for BRC S&P publication and participates in ad hoc projects.

- Under direct management, analyzes routine and some non-routine analytical or business problems as directed; develops own industry knowledge; identifies industry risk factors.
Responsibilities:
- Supports analysts in assigned deals within a portfolio that are typically simple in nature including assisting in the surveillance of rated debt issues and issuer's ratings and preparing summaries of issues discussed at issuer meetings attended.
- Develops and maintains a centralized source of news information, including digital media, and carries out research for industry monitoring including examining corporate or municipal financial technical information.
- Supports analysts in spreadsheet and database development, maintenance, and analytics including extracting financial and economic data from source materials and inputting into group/company applications and performing financial modeling.
- Works as part of a local team, providing statistical data for local publication as well as supporting global sector reviews, both statistics and text.
- Prepares and submits detailed reports and summaries incorporating information required for evaluation by the rating committee.
- Checks numbers used in publications for accuracy and prepares material for publication and coordinates with local team to ensure data is treated consistently across industries and ratings.
- Contributes to the analysis of credit using BRC S&P rating methodology and standards, Excel, financial models, financial data, and financial statement analysis.
- Conducts research for potential new business, articles and improvement in analytical tools and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Student in 9-10 semester or Bachelors degree in Business or related field.
- 0-1 years of work experience in financial analysis of financial institutions.
- Advanced Microsoft office tools command (mainly advanced Excel skills),
- Advanced English level (B2 high or C1).
