The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Master Data IT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Supporting Business Groups in their Master Data governance and Syndication activities
Specialize in Material master data attributes and industry standards
Collaborate with business clients and enterprise architecture to develop strategic roadmap
Driving Data Syndication effort within Master Data Organization and setting priorities for master data syndication team
Developing and Implementing data quality standards to improve data quality of master data syndication
Overseeing day-to-day operational support of data syndication IT operations
Working closely with 3rd party software vendors and GS1 Global Standards team
Participate in planning quarterly work through Big Room Planning events
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of Master Data Management or Master Data Quality experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Hands on SQL query writing experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
SAP experience primarily in material master and other customer facing data including Pack Level Data, GTIN, UOM etc.
Understanding of PIM systems including SAP and Legacy
Experience in HCBG regulatory requirements and/or system validations
Experience coaching, advising, and training others through the global material master processes to ensure data governance standards and regulations are followed
Integrations and Cloud technologies
Proven track record achieving results in complex situations. Experience in developing team and strategy to deploy global solutions.
Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and deliver results in a high pressure, high profile environment
Ability to work closely with architects to develop end to end system architecture and design
Location: Maplewood, MN or may consider remote US work location
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
