The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Plant Engineering Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership
- Implementing and ensuring use of a Reliability Framework and Asset Management System to drive continual improvements in safety, employee engagement and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, human resources and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
- Leading the plant engineering and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement in plant performance and productivity.
- Implementing strategic direction on all facilities and maintenance activities for the Oak Hills and Monrovia Tape plants.
- Determining capital requirements necessary for the plant to maintain it's ability to meet customer requirements.
- Supporting, managing and leading the maintenance team to meet overall plant and business objectives.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of plant maintenance and supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Five (5) years of plant maintenance and supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Locations: Oak Hills, CA / Monroiva Tape, CA
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
