The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Site Quality Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Guiding the quality department and coaching/training teams to ensure understanding and application of the Quality Management System (QMS) including identification of critical inputs, establishment of metrics and monitoring of process performance
Being a key member of Plant Operating Committee, providing leadership for business unit level quality leadership teams, contributing to the design and implementation of a QMS, compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015, Technical Specifications (TS)16949, Aerospace Standard (AS)9100, ISO13485 in support of multiple site value streams
Focusing on customer quality and improving customer satisfaction, including focus on customer visits and communication
Supporting and executing the long-term strategic direction for quality, integrated into the overall strategic plan, and execution of quality management plans to drive continuous improvement of the QMS
Assuring quality tools and methodologies are consistently used effectively and efficiently across the organization

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of combined experience working in a Quality, Product Engineering, and/or Manufacturing/Production in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or other related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of combined supervisory and/or management experience
Experience implementing a QMS and management of QMS in a regulated industry (Aerospace, Automotive or Medical)
Experience in working with global extended value stream, customer supply chain and OEM customers
Demonstrated experience of implementing systemic continuous improvement
Six Sigma or other Quality Improvement certification(s) [e.g. American Society for Quality (ASQ)-Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Effectiveness (CQM/OE)]
