The Role: Team Leader Data Operations
Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 9.1
The Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Candidates should be living in AMBA- no remote work allowed outside of AMBA
The Team: The ownership team's main mission is to provide our clients through our platform with the most accurate data on a timely manner. Our goal is to study the market's legislation and the different public financial data sources that will allow us, together with the tech team, building repeatable processes and deliver new solutions to the market. Success is measured through our capacity of finding new ways to broaden our data coverage, as well as enhancing the collection procedures.
Work schedule (Time shift): 8 to 5 pm
The Impact: This role will involve working with the team and the manager on a variety of initiatives related to the process, people, and projects within the team. This is an opportunity to lead the team consisting of enthusiastic associates and contribute towards achieving the goals of team. It also includes an opportunity towards understanding business objectives, recommending & implementing solutions to business problems. It gives you opportunities to ideate and implement projects to achieve higher accuracy of dataset and faster completion of processes. Accountability would be towards understanding and owning the business objectives; being a role model for people and peer group; communicating with passion and enthusiasm, embracing change as a way of working; and leading by example when communicating new initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 10 to 15 associates.
- Responsible for the day-to-day workflow management and performance of a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency of process workflows.
- Manage the performance review process, talent development and talent management processes of the team.
- Identify individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst the team.
- Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and teams.
- Communicate with the people managers and teams based in same\different locations
- Ensure team members are compliant when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies, and research tools.
- Work on workflow analysis, management, monitoring, and resource allocation as daily operational activity. Manage the performance of team members and conduct reviews. Conduct intensive trainings for the team, Plan resource requirements and develop back-up and succession plans.
- Present and execute ideas for improving overall departmental processes, procedures, and tools. Continuously implement and innovate techniques to maximize productivity.
- Hire, train, evaluate and guide personnel to ensure that department and business goals are met in a timely fashion.

Basic Qualifications:
- College degree in the area of Business, Computer Science, Management or Marketing or any equivalent / relevant degrees , or equivalent experience
- Preferably with experience working in a highly multicultural environment.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and SQL would be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding on lean principles, Blue Prism, Python, Tableau, Six Sigma certification, and SQL would be an added advantage.
- Working in Data & Content Management or similar industry is a plus but not required
