The Role: Associate Scrum Master
The Location: Richmond, VA; Charlottesville, VA; New York, NY; Princeton, NJ
Grade Level: 10
The Team / The Business : S&P Global Market Intelligence, a best-in-class sector-focused news and financial information provider, is looking for an Associate Scrum Master to join our Agile Practices team. The Agile Practices team is responsible for ensuring Agile / Scrum practices are followed across the division.
The Impact : The Scrum Master on the team has a shared responsibility to ensure that the team is aligned to both its team and program objectives and is making progress towards delivering them. The Scrum Master facilitate discussions between the business and the technology team members, and coaches the Scrum team in Scrum practices

Responsibilities:
- Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile / Scrum practices and values to delight customers
- Guide the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
- Coach the Development team in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Help the Development team to create high-value products
- Cause change that increases the productivity of the Scrum team
- Escalates and tracks key team metrics
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and streamlining information
What We're Looking For:
Has strong knowledge of business systems processes, models, and design requirements as well as workflow design.
- Has strong knowledge of technical risks, workflow/business process analysis and engineering/quality processes and potential impact on other areas
- Solve problems with detailed oversight or interaction
- Solve routine problems and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures
- As a servant leader, is focused on improving team dynamics so it generates organizational value
Basic Qualifications:
Equivalent experience, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,300 - $155,900 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
