The Impact: The Release Train Engineer position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value using the Scaled Agile Framework. The Release Train Engineer contributes significantly to their Agile Release Train's success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on business priorities.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long term value to our customers.
Act as a servant leader to an Agile Release Train
Educate Agile Release Trains and Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from Scaled Agile practices and values
Coach Agile Release Trains and/or Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
Guide the Agile Release Train to consistently delivery customer value
Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams
Facilitate Agile Release Train events including program increment planning, system demos/iteration reviews, inspect and adapt events, and Agile Release Train synchs.
Work with Product Managers/Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood.
Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency
Work with Solution Train Engineers, peer Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile
What We're Looking For: Basic Qualifications:
Experience leading teams as a Release Train Engineer and/or Scrum Master
Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent related experience
3-5 years of related experience , plus managerial experience*
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with high level business stakeholders
knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Strong sense of urgency when needed
Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks
Team-first, servant leader mentality
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,300 - $195,800 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
