This position will primarily see patients in the outpatient clinical setting and provide clinical care as part of the Dermatopathology clinical team that consists of three active fellowship trained dermatopathologists. This position will also be involved in research and teaching component in the Department of Dermatology.

Responsibilities:
Medical dermatology and Dermatopathology are the primary duties of this position.
Position will have a mix of regularly scheduled weekly outpatient clinical sessions in Dermatology and will also be an active part of the Dermatopathology section. The selected physician will also develop independent clinical research. Additional expectations are teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, by bedside teaching, lectures, journal club or other teaching venues; weekly attendance at department grand rounds; participation in departmental governance and service; and, share in conference coverage and call schedule.
The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service.

Education:
Required Terminal Degree Required: MD/DO, BC/BE in Dermatology Required: Prior to 1st day of employment successful candidates will be Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Dermatopathology Desired: Current valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Wisconsin or eligible to obtain licensure
Qualifications:
Successful completion of residency in General Dermatology and fellowship in Dermatopathology. Candidates for Associate Professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
License/Certification:
Required MD - Physician - State Licensure Wisconsin medical license, DEA certifications, credentialed with UW Health managed care plans, credentialing and staff privileges at UW Hospital, Meriter Hospital and VA Middleton must be completed by start date.
