OVS is located in Central Nebraska and we are looking for a full-time veterinarian who is comfortable and productive in a busy mixed animal setting.  Our practice is well established, progressive, well equipped, in a very nice facility and blessed with a talented staff of six doctors and 17 employees.  We service a wide variety of clients including feedlot, cow-calf, companion animals and equine. Individuals should be self-motivated, hardworking and looking to be part of a team oriented practice. We offer a competitive base salary based on experience and provide profit sharing incentives. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examine large and small animals and perform diagnostic tests to determine the cause of illness
• Perform routine preventative care for companion and farm animals
• Process and exam incoming cattle at feed yards within a team setting to vaccinate and deworm new cattle
• Preg check cattle both at feed yards and in a cow-calf setting
• Operate medical equipment such as ultrasounds, x-ray machines, etc.
• Provide in-field emergency care for livestock
• Provide after-hours emergency services on a rotating basis along with 6 other Doctors
