Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator in Cop2Cop Call Center for Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
Under supervision of the Program Administrator, supervises all the day-to-day aspects of the Cop2Cop, Resilience Police Officer (RPO), Corrections and First Responders program, represents the program at events and acts as the liaison to funding agencies, State representatives, collaborating agencies, and referrals sources, as needed and/or required by this position. Supervises the activities and staff of the Cop2Cop, Resilience Police Officer (RPO), Corrections and First Responder Peer Support Program serving first responders, family members and caregivers. Ensures the quality of the telephone-based counseling and crisis interventions are provided. Ensures compliance with relevant funding agency and regulatory agency.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Participates as a member of the management team and is responsible for overseeing, managing and preparing documentation needed by the funding agencies to continue funding.
Assists the Program Administrator in the day-to-day operation of the Telephone Helplines serving first responder personnel.
Supervises staff as assigned by the Program Administrator.
In collaboration with the Program Administrator, develops and supports marketing of Telephone Helpline services.
Oversees, manages and prepares paperwork and documentation needed by UBHC and external funding agencies and the Federal Government.
Serves as liaison within the collaborating agencies, external funding sources, and other departments within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends of telephonic helpline services.
Recruits Telephone Helpline staff members who are military veterans.
Attends and conducts meetings relevant to administrative functions.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in a mental health discipline plus four (4) years post master's experience in the behavioral health field.
