The City of Monona, WI (population 8,624) seeks experienced municipal leaders as applicants to serve as this community’s next City Administrator.  The City Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer and is appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Common Council.  Under the direction of the Mayor, this position’s duties are broad and encompass all aspects of municipal management. In fulfilling their responsibilities, the City Administrator makes significant decisions related to finance and budgeting ($16M annual budget), personnel management, planning, public works, community and economic development, and intergovernmental relations to ensure efficient and effective performance of the organization.
