Job Description Government & Community Affairs is seeking an Outreach & Program Director who will work with the Executive Director of Community Relations Medical Campus and Boston University National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) Chief Scientific Director to provide operational support to the NEIDL Community Liaison Committee (CLC). The Outreach & Program Director is responsible for the recruitment and training of new members to an expanded Community Liaison Committee. The Outreach & Program Director will work in collaboration with the Vice President, Executive Director of Government & Community Affairs, and the Executive Director of Community Relations Medical Campus to develop and implement community programming for the NEIDL and be directly responsible for producing and scheduling new and ongoing programming in the community that will increase public awareness of the NEIDL's mission to save lives and provide cures for infectious diseases in a safe facility.

Required Skills A cover letter is required for consideration.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with five years of experience in a related field.
Experience in community work and organizing.
Able to interact with and relate comfortably with community representatives and residents.
Some evenings and weekend events and meeting attendance are required.
