Adjunct Instructor - Surgical Technology

The School of Health Sciences is seeking a part-time Surgical Technology Adjunct to provide clinical oversight for students in clinical rotations.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Travel to off-campus clinical sites;
• Clinical documentation;
• Act as resource for clinical preceptors;
• Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator of the Surgical Technology Program.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the field of Surgical Technology
• Credentialed in the discipline of surgical technology through a national credentialing organization that is accredited by the National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA)
• Minimum of three (3) years of the last five (5) years of operating room experience in the scrub role and/or in surgical technology
• Valid driver's license at the time of hire and throughout the duration of the appointment with the ability to travel to clinical sites
