Role: Business Analyst / Jr Product Owner, WSO Product Suite
Opportunity: The WSO Product Suite is comprised of multiple mature applications. Numerous product teams support the suite using Scrum methodologies and an Agile mindset, delivering new code on a monthly cadence to production environments hosted on AWS. You would serve as a business analyst, alongside other business resources and engineers, on a team that focuses on financial trading functionality. You would be joining an experienced global team that contributes to the overall success and growth of our business. Responsibilities: ??? Define the business requirements for upcoming work in the backlog ??? Work with the rest of the team to transform business requirements into stories with acceptance criteria and story points ??? Support the team during the sprint - answer questions, help remove blockers and solve problems and assess and prioritize unplanned work ??? Be the "voice" of the user in everything that you do ??? Create and maintain user documentation ??? Help prioritize and otherwise maintain the backlog ??? Become a subject matter expert on the functionality in our code ownership area ??? Participate and in some instances drive, various Scrum ceremonies
What we're looking for Candidates with ... ??? University degree, preferably in a technology or related field; the right work experience may substitute ??? 3 - 5 years experience with software development, preferably under a Scrum framework ??? Strong analytical and initiative mindset ??? Strong people skills; works well in team and highly collaborative settings ??? Comfort level in fast paced environments ??? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ??? Understanding of basic SQL skills is a plus
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
