Kehillah Jewish High School is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the position of Dean of Students. The Dean of Students will oversee various aspects of student life, including but not limited to policies and discipline, advisory, student government, clubs, programming, service opportunities, and student health coordination. The ideal candidate will promote and support full educational access for high school students and is experienced in working with this age group.

This is a Full-Time, exempt position starting July 1, 2023. Must have at least three years of experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $120,000, based on experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Implement policies for student discipline and conduct, ensuring they align with the school's mission and vision.
Lead and provide content for the Advisory and Student Government programs.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports the academic and personal growth of each student.
Oversee the development and functioning of student clubs and programming encouraging student involvement and leadership.
Coordinate student health needs and serve as the liaison with parents.
Serve as liaison to Associate Head of School and School Counselor for parent and student academic concerns.
Create opportunities for student involvement in community service projects in partnership with the Dean of Jewish Life and Learning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferable.
Background in Education, Counseling, or a related field desirable.
Minimum 2 years of experience in student affairs, student services, or a related field.
Knowledge of Jewish traditions and culture is preferred.
Demonstrated experience working in an independent school setting a plus.
Live in the State of California and work on campus during the Employee’s regularly scheduled hours.
