Department: Theatre - 32122Brief Summary of Work for this position: The Department of Theatre at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is seeking one nine-month, non-tenure track visiting assistant professor of Scenic and Lighting design. This is a one year, fixed-term appointment starting August 2023 and ending May 2024.We seek to hire a Scenic and Lighting Designer to teach the following courses in the Fall 2023 (Introduction to Design and Lighting Design) and in Spring 2024 (Scene Design I and Scene Painting).This position carries a teaching load of 9 contact hours per semester (6 hours of academic and 3 hours of release for production).
