The Role: Product Management Associate Director, Energy Studio Impact & Analytics The Grade/Level: (relevant for internal applicants only) 12 The Location: Houston, Denver, Dallas, Colorado
The Team: Upstream North America Content manages a portfolio of content products for Land, Subsurface, Well, and Production personas for traditional oil and gas and energy transition workflows. Our goal is to discover new sources of growth through continuous product innovation.
The Impact: You will be responsible for training and demos, post-sales deployment, user metrics and insights, and championing our Energy Studio Impact customer-facing application. As a Product Management Associate Director, you will work closely with sales, internal customer support teams, and customers to gather product feedback, market and competitive intelligence, and usage information to help your team refine the product vision and requirements to better target customer growth segments and under-served personas. This position also works closely with product marketing to drive product awareness and usage across the internal and external customer base.

Responsibilities:
Undisputed expert in Energy Studio Impact
Partners with Commercial team to understand the customer user base, product usage trends, requirements, and competitive positioning to help identify opportunities to expand the user base and enhance the product
Partners with sales to support opportunities, help transition current clients from legacy applications and conduct post-sales deployment and training programs
Support client needs and issues in addition to building proactive relationships aimed towards product adoption
Responsible for training other internal customer support teams and building a team of people that can help support client demos and requests
Monitors and reports on product usage by customer segment, client, and user persona
Defines and conducts demo workflows targeting different customer segments and user personas
Gathers and tracks customer feedback and competitive information
Participates in strategy and design sessions to share customer feedback and usage analysis
Develops and executes product training for internal and external customers
Proactively works with Product Management, Customer Care, Content and Operations to identify internal product use cases and training requirements
Manages and runs user group/client advisory group meetings with the support of the product manager
What We're Looking For:
Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, or OmniSci beneficial. Experience with writing SQL code required.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and relationship-building skills required
Previous experience in data analytics preferred
5-10 years' experience in technology-powered products in the energy industry
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Geoscience or Engineering preferred
Experience in agile product development practices and tools beneficial

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,400 USD to $130,000 USD . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
