Expanding on the fundamentals of fashion design, students learn entrepreneurship procedures in apparel marketing, manufacturing, and mass-production practices. Our students develop the critical skills they need to evolve into versatile design professionals and innovative messengers in the fashion industry. MassArt Fashion Design has developed national and international partnerships along with the many local collaborators that offer opportunities to engage students and faculty. Our long established travel courses, internship programs and scholarship projects have afforded students to engage and explore within the global community. We continue to advance our curriculum in interdisciplinary areas, sustainability, bio-design, technology, diversity, and inclusiveness.MassArt Fashion Design Mission Statement:Since 1907 the MassArt Fashion Design Dept. has been cultivating and nurturing designers, leaders, and artists in the realm of fashion.
