Cyber Range Program Manager 8219BR Golisano College of Computing & Info Sciences GCCIS - Global Cybersecurity Institute
Detailed Job Description Reporting to the Director of the Cyber Range and Training Center withing RIT's ESL Global Cybersecurity Institute, this position will also be expected to support training program development who will assist with projects, work with external strategic partners, and RIT organizational partners. This position is expected to demonstrate leadership and advocacy to increase inclusion, diversity, equality, and accessibility for transitioning veterans to join the cybersecurity workforce.
Responsibilities include:
Recruitment of transitioning veterans; visit and maintain top-of-mind relationships with military transition counselors at dozens of bases worldwide; work across the 8-school consortium to monitor and augment their recruitment efforts
Placement of training program graduates; coordinate mock interviews, job faires, engage external companies for needs analysis; work across the 8-school coalition to monitor and augment their placement efforts
Requirements engineering: gather technical requirements from Cyber Range, military support community, military members, and coalition partners and convert those into detailed task lists and timelines for those responsible for training development and delivery
User experience testing and analysis as well as engagement with participants during Cyber Range training events
Building coalitions of faculty, staff, and organizations across RIT, across consortium organizations, and including vendors and external stakeholders to meet the overall goals of the Cyber Range.

Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience:
Advanced degree required - Master's Degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Management, MBA or equivalent experience.
Must have at least 2 years leading requirements engineering/voice-of-customer discovery
At least one year of experience with technology project management
Skills:
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, techniques, best practices
Demonstrated experience and/or exceptional potential in program management, specifically relating to governance/risk/compliance, penetration testing and/or security evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to lead veterans recruitment and cybersecurity job placement.
Ability to represent a global organization and interact with many external stakeholders at the advanced professional level.
Ability to find and recruit student talent for project fulfillment
Excellent interpersonal skills
