The Role: Director, Product Management, Derived Data and Analytics for North American Content
The Location: Houston TX, Dallas, TX
The Team: Upstream North America Content manages a portfolio of content products for Land, Subsurface, Well, and Production personas for traditional oil and gas and energy transition workflows. Our goal is to discover new sources of growth through continuous product innovation.
The Impact: You will be responsible for discovering how are portfolio of data and content can be leveraged to develop derived data and analytics that create new value to our upstream North America customers. This derived data and analytics portfolio will enable our upstream clients leverage the digital transformation in the oil and gas industry by eliminating data gathering and clean-up activities and automating critical workflows. You will be the undisputed expert on all data analytics applications within our upstream North America segment and enable new sources of growth by discovering our next generation of solutions.

Responsibilities:
Works with Commercial and Data Operations teams to evaluate market/client needs and competitive positioning to define a differentiated, innovative, forward-looking product vision for the integration of analytics-ready and derivative content and the enablement of visualization and analytics within Energy Studio Impact
Works closely with clients and North America Content, Software, and Insights product managers to define customer workflows, translate workflows into visualization and analytics requirements for Energy Studio Impact and prioritize the development roadmap to support current and emerging market needs
Works with content SMEs, operations, and development to define roadmaps to grow our analytics-ready and derived data set including confirming the data model structure, data update requirements (daily), data delivery path(s), and data categorization and display requirements
Act as Subject Matter Expert on the analytics-ready and derived data Upstream content exposed within Energy Studio Impact and the visualization and analytics workflows it enables
Works closely with customers and collaborates with content operations, product management, data delivery, commercial, product development, sales, marketing and customer care to support client requests, gather information and resolve any issues that may arise
What We're Looking For :
Minimum 10 years' experience in a client-facing product management and/or commercial role and a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Geology, (MBA preferred)
Experience in upstream oil and gas with a deep understanding of the E&P lifecycle required
Experience in B2B Product Management developing analytical solutions and/or data visualization applications for geological, geophysical, or engineering applications required
Experience with Business Analytics tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau required
Creative - thinking outside the box
Persistent - pushing organizations beyond the comfort zone and killing siloes with constant communication
Ambitious - desire to disrupt the upstream sector through automation and digital transformation
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,100 to $ 258,600. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
