Position OverviewThe Department of Philosophy at The Ohio State University invites applications for the The Steve R. and Sarah E. O'Donnell Professorship in Philosophy, an endowed tenured position at the rank of associate professor or professor. We welcome a variety of approaches in philosophy. The appointed individual will conduct philosophical research, teach at all levels of the undergraduate and graduate philosophy curriculum, and participate in the cooperative administration of the department. This appointment will begin in Autumn 2024.Area of Specialization: metaphysics and/or epistemology. We construe this broadly to include, among others, relevant subfields of: philosophies of gender, language, logic, math, mind, race, and science.
