T-Mobile is seeking an attorney with exceptional communication skills and a talent for creative problem-solving to provide privacy guidance to T-Mobile’s frontline business units, help keep our customers informed about our privacy practices, and drive the continued development of the Un-carrier’s privacy program.
What you’ll do in your role.
Advise T-Mobile’s Consumer Group (Retail and Customer Care) on the privacy laws, regulations, obligations, and industry standards impacting their work.
Guide continued enhancements to T-Mobile’s Privacy Center, privacy notices, and privacy dashboard to educate consumers and meet compliance obligations.
Support development and implementation of T-Mobile’s technical privacy controls.
Drive a successful privacy compliance program through, e.g., drafting of internal and public-facing policies, disclosures, and other documentation and compliance training to raise awareness across the enterprise.
Advise on related provisions in commercial contracts.
Propel other department and team initiatives as assigned.
The experience you’ll bring.
3+ years as an in house, top law firm, or government attorney with relevant experience, including:
J.D. or equivalent from an accredited law school, and an active member in good standing of a relevant state bar.
Experience with privacy preferred, particularly state privacy laws (CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to advise on highly complex, high-impact matters and navigate ambiguity, and to establish yourself as a subject matter expert in specialty field(s).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and customer-oriented interpersonal skills.
Keen business sense with strong judgment, writing, and decision-making skills.
Ability to navigate a complex organization with a focus on delivering results efficiently.
Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
