This role will administer several regulatory compliance programs, maintaining a strong governance process for those programs. For all assigned compliance programs, this role will carry out operational practices, training programs, and/or monitor program controls and produce progress reporting. Where appropriate, this role will also oversee outsourced compliance operations and monitor additional controls over the outsourced vendor. Lastly, this role will work with internal and outside counsel to ensure programs consistently meet current regulatory obligations and are built to be agile in a complex regulatory and business environment.
What you’ll do in your role.
Produce filings in accordance with federal, state, and municipal regulations.
Document filing procedures, assumptions, and workflows for owned compliance programs.
Work with business partners to ensure timely reporting, train business partners on procedures, and create policies or functional guidelines where needed. Project-manage inputs required from business partners for filings.
Work with internal and outside counsel to ensure programs are up-to-date and appropriate.
Oversee outsourced vendors’ work and audit production as necessary.
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
The experience you’ll bring.
Bachelor's Degree – Legal Studies or other compliance-related areas preferred.
5+ years of regulatory compliance management experience or similar roles
Experience in preparing regulatory documents and filing electronically.
Ability to design procedures and create process documents, project management experience a plus.
Excellent communications skills; able to work with internal and outside counsel; able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals.
Proficient in MS Office; intermediate level in Adobe, DocuSign, SharePoint, and other productivity tools.
