Position Overview
The Department of Comparative Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill two (2) semester lecturer positions (associated faculty). This position teaches undergraduate and/or graduate course(s) as assigned by the department, holds office hours, grades assignments, and submits grades. The position may also participate in curriculum development and course coordination.
One position will teach Comp Studies 2301 and the other position will teach Comp Studies 4420.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Appointment as a lecturer requires that the individual have, at a minimum, a Masters degree in a field appropriate to the subject matter to be taught.
Desired: Evidence of ability to provide high-quality instruction. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to building a culturally diverse intellectual community, in line with Ohio States Shared Values (see below).
