California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) Information Technology Services (ITS) is looking for a Director of Information Security and Compliance. Come join our dynamic and collaborative team!
What you'll do The Director of Information Security and Compliance/Information Security Officer is responsible the overall administration of the information security program and protecting CSUSB's core information assets. You will forecast skill and competency needs and develop a forward-looking technology workforce to enhance and transform information security at CSUSB.
You'll work across teams, with stakeholders, and with third party vendors to get projects done. Our projects involve assessing and implementing a wide variety of technologies -- from cloud migration to software/hardware solutions to implementing an array of process improvements -- and vary in complexity, so you'll always have different and interesting things to do!
This position requires the ability to be inclusive, open-minded, and flexible when promoting teamwork or handling conflicts, while being innovative when developing fresh ideas and solutions. You'll get to flex your business analysis skills in this role, too, analyzing trends, making decisions and recommendations on preventing or resolving problems - all while taking into account facts, goals, constrains, and risk.
