What Inventory Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Accountabilities

This position combines data analysis, with physical inventory management of customers various storerooms throughout Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This position reports M-F to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at 8901 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20889

• Provide inventory for stock sites
• Work with authorized government representatives to compose the order. You may never create the order
•  Obtain Government authorization for the order. An Authorized Government Representative (AGR) will be available at each stock site
• Provide notification on materiel not available to the stock site, within two hours of order authorization
• Deliver and restock materiel to the stock sites within 24 hours of order receipt (on business days)
• Provide priced packing lists to the COR or AGR prior to restocking

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
• 3-5 years experience in inventory management, project management, supply technician, or data and administration in a healthcare setting preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A Covid-19 vaccination or a legitimate accommodation is required in order to be employed in this position.
