Overview: S&P Reporting business provides pre and post trade solutions for OTC derivatives across Rates and Credit (Matching, Prime Brokerage, Clearing, Regulatory Reporting), FX and syndicated loans,Commodites. Our services enable financial institutions to streamline workflow, connect to counterparties more effectively and comply with regulatory requirements. With our processing services, buy-side and sell-side firms can optimize workflow efficiency and comply with new regulations.
Position Summary: S&P is seeking a Business Analyst based in Singapore reporting to Product Management. The role spans Asia Pacific including Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong and emerging APAC markets.
Duties & Accountability:
Assist in requirements gathering and business analysis in regulatory reporting area
Collaborate with technology, operations, sales and business to deliver regulatory reporting solutions
Translate regulatory requirements into business requirements and functional specifications
Act as liaison between client and delivery team to define and validate client requirements for regulatory reporting solution
Partnering with developers and testers in designing and delivery solutions
Maintain strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Participate in solution proposals, project implementations, and new business development analysis
Business Competencies: Education and experience
Minimum 5 years industry experience in Financial Markets
University graduate or equivalent
Experience in delivering trade reporting projects for G20 regulatory regimes including Dodd Frank, MIFID II, EMIR, ASIC, MAS, HKMA ,JFSA and others as Project Manager or Business Analyst
Financial market awareness in financial technology, multi-asset derivatives pre and post trade processing and services
Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines under pressure
Ability to develop effective working relationship across global distribution and delivery teams
Commercial awareness
Knowledge of Trade Processing and G20 regulatory regimes
