What you’ll do in your role.
Monitor and interpret evolving federal requirements related to wireless infrastructure and deployment, including rules and regulations implemented by the FCC, FAA, etc. and communicate updates to internal partners.
Analyze, interpret, and comment on federal, state, and local rules and regulations to determine their application to T-Mobile’s network deployment plans and policies.
Advise on external governance trends, rules and regulations related to telecommunications industry and wireless infrastructure.
Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and external partners to influence regulatory policies and advocate for T-Mobile's interests.
Build and present training materials and conduct training sessions for T-Mobile attorneys, network development teams and vendors to establish best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across functions and regions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements relevant to wireless infrastructure and deployment.
Think like the “Uncarrier” in the context of all that you do for T-Mobile, with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach to all matters. The experience you’ll bring.
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school & admission and licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
Minimum 7-10 years of on point in-house and/or law firm experience.
Results oriented team member with executive maturity to render legal advice and support.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple responsibilities and effectively lead complex projects.
Proven expertise in federal law governing telecommunications, in addition to state and local rules and regulations governing the siting of macro wireless facilities and small cell facilities in public rights of ways and pole attachments.
Proven experience in optimally interacting with government agencies, industry associations, and external partners.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory challenges.
Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
