Job Description: The IVMF is seeking a Project Manager, for the Entrepreneurship & Small Business team, to support the portfolio's recurring programs and operations. Key responsibilities: assisting in the grant and budget management to include reporting and data, creation and management of data systems in partnership with the data and evaluation teams, procurement of goods and services, managing of inventory and equipment; supporting the submission of request for proposals to secure event-specific contracts; supporting the maintenance of the Center of Excellence Resource Library and Resource Dashboard; developing Standard Operating Procedures and other resource documents; and overall project management of the portfolios key objectives. This position will report to the Director, Entrepreneurship & Small Business.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required.
Five (5) years of professional experience.
Project Management experience required.
Experience with CRM.
Experience with procurement of goods, inventory management and shipment of inventory.
Prior experience working with active duty, veteran, and military families preferred.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Personal discipline to successfully support multiple, concurrent projects; can meet deadlines with competing demands and requirements.
Understanding of request for proposal process.
Experience creating and maintaining resource documents, and identifying areas of improvement.
Preference given to those with a military service connection, or who have worked with veteran, military, and/or family stakeholders, universities or think-tanks, and familiarity with related government programs and services for veterans, families, and related civilian human services programs.
Responsibilities: Project/Data/Budget Support and Management:
Support M&E and Data teams on projects to include CRM integration and reporting, data structure and M&E implementation.
Coordinate and monitor IVMFs Entrepreneurship and Small Business portfolio and work to develop and implement new project management tools and processes.
Implement grant reporting processes for the portfolio in collaboration with the IVMF PMO, and across the organization, to obtain the data needed for ongoing grant proposals and reports, keeping track of what is due and on the horizon.
Assist portfolio leadership in managing budget and ensuring all financial objectives are met.
Logistics & Request for Proposals and Contracts:
Support the procurement, organization, labeling, and management of the portfolios inventory.
Identify areas of improvement in cataloging and tracking inventory, organization in dedicated storage facility, and shipment procedures.
Assist with logistics of program portfolio to include Boots to Business, and residency programs such as EBV, EDGE, VWISE etc. this will include flight trackers, honorarium trackers, speaker tracker etc.
Build tracker to capture services utilized at each event, to aid in future planning and contract negotiation.
Standard Operating Procedures and Resource Documents:
Develop and manage portfolio SOPs and other resource documents on ongoing basis, and provide comments and recommendations to leadership.
Recognize gaps in supportive documents and support in their development and management.
Maintain repository of portfolio SOP and resource documents.
Other duties as assigned.
