Occupational Therapist (Spinal Cord Injury)
The VA San Diego Spinal Cord Injury / Disorders (SCI/D) Center is seeking a SCI/D Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct care to inpatient and outpatient veterans with SCI/D, including traumatic and non-traumatic SCI, as well as ALS and Multiple Sclerosis. Experience working in the VA and with people with SCI/D is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. BASIC REQUIREMENTS. The authority to set requirements is provided by 38 U.S.C. § 7402(b)(14). a. Citizenship. Be a citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with 38 U.S.C. § 7407(a)
