US Banks Operational Resilience Vice President Team Profile: The Firm Resilience Function owns the identification and resilience for the Firm's key business services and coordinates operational resilience efforts across Firm, including the Fusion Resilience Center, Third Party Program Management, Operational Risk and Technology. Firm Resilience works with Legal and Compliance to interpret regulatory guidance on operational resilience and is responsible for advising Business Units on standards and implementation. The function also works with Regulatory Relations and the Business Units to review and respond to regulatory requests and prepare for regulatory exams touching on operational resilience. As a member of our team, you will be in a unique position to interact with people and teams globally across different businesses and functions, working on topics that have a direct impact on the operational stability of the Firm.
Responsibilities: > Ensuring that required resilience activities are appropriately owned by the business and embedded into their business planning and management processes > Supporting the development and maintenance of the Business Service Resilience Framework, including policies, procedures, and program plans > Provide support with US Banking regulatory operational resilience exams > Supporting Banking business areas in assessing potential operational vulnerabilities by identifying and documenting Key Business Services, associated end-to-end processes and underlying assets that support them > Collaborating with departments across the Firm, such as Operational Risk, Operations and Technology, to implement the Business Service Resilience Framework (e.g., development of severe but plausible scenarios that will be tested to measure resilience of the Firm's Key Business Services) > Assisting the business to identify and remediate gaps in their resilience capabilities and proactively implement innovative solutions to mitigate resilience risks > Ensuring resilience has appropriate governance and senior management oversight, including leading and supporting resilience specific governance fora, and contributing to fora owned by Firm Resilience partners (e.g., Operational Risk and Business Units) > Identifying or supporting the development of solutions for strategic changes required for resilience and opportunities for efficiencies across related programs > Timely and accurate reporting of resilience management information

Required Skills: > 7-10 years of experience in banking, preferably front office US Banking operations > Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work successfully across multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines while producing quality results and deliverables > Experience interacting with and supporting US banking regulatory exams > Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks and issues through critical thinking while developing possible solutions > Quick learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving regulatory and business requirements > Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholder groups with ability to maintain a focus on delivering tangible results > Strong communication and presentation skills > Ability to work and collaborate with team members, stakeholders and partners across all levels of the organization > We especially value candidates who offer innovative ideas and help increase the efficiency of our business

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
