The Role: Senior Product Development Manager
The Team: The S&P Global Commodity Insights eWindow group manages a market communication system that facilitate the Platts Market On Close Process. It is the source of real-time data capturing tool which contributes to the Platts benchmark assessments that settles billions of dollars of trades a day. The team is responsible for community engagements and market development, while running day to day operations with the community.
The team is a unique blend of both relationship roles as well as operational and technical role that is able to service the market in making Quicker, Better and more Profitable trading decisions.
The successful candidate will work in the eWindow Team at Commodity Insights reporting directly to the Global Director, eWindow.
Responsibilities and Impact:
The Senior Product Manager will play a crucial role in both the development and administration of the eWindow platform, along with any forthcoming screen platforms. Collaborating closely with the Global Director of eWindow, they will spearhead this pivotal initiative, ensuring continuous technological evolution to maintain the system's relevance in the market.
Main responsibility:
Forge close partnerships with Product, Operations, Internal & External Technology teams worldwide, alongside client engagement.
Formulate strategic business requirement documents, define project milestones, and oversee progress to ensure successful outcomes.
Foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders to articulate precise requirements and uphold quality standards.
Collaborate with internal units such as Content, Technology, and Products to realize strategic objectives.
Supervise and lead the eWindow team, overseeing daily operations, market introductions, and educational initiatives.
Direct and facilitate Technical Business Audits, Technical Requirements gathering, Technical Testing, and Quality Control measures.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Extensive Project Management background within a real-time financial technology firm or Commodity Sector spanning a minimum of 5-10 years.
Natural curiosity in Technology and AI is needed.
Excellent comprehension of commodity market principles, coupled with a deep understanding of financial markets.
Proficiency in API interfaces, Database management, and Analytical tools is highly desired.
Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional relationship-building capability, leadership, and team-management capabilities.
Ability to lead productive working sessions involving internal and industry stakeholders, underpinned by strong interpersonal skills to effectively guide discussions.
Transparent and assertive communicator, well versed at addressing issues professionally and collaborating with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
