Job Description: The Office of the Chief Operations Officer is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to provide direct project management support for projects across the division, including Campus Dining retail concept and franchise evaluation projects, Software evaluation and implementation, and Operational safety and efficiency initiatives. The Project Manager will serve as a collaborative team member to provide project management, working closely with project leaders, division directors and other key stakeholders to ensure project success. Responsibilities entail include effectively managing assigned projects, conducting project documentation, and reporting, and driving quality improvement in project delivery. Prior project management experience required; certification preferred.

Manage complex projects involving multiple teams and external partners.
Conduct project lifecycle management including initiating, attending or facilitating project planning meetings, agenda development and scheduling, and communication with project sponsors, clients, and stakeholders.
Define roles and responsibilities on project teams.
Facilitate project scoping meetings with key project team members, including internal project personnel and external client representatives.
Develop statements of work (SOWs), project plans and supporting project materials on each assigned project.
Develop project plans and supporting project materials for assigned projects.
Maintain project plans and monitor project reporting requirements and metrics as projects progress, provide updates to senior leadership.
Identify, report and work to resolve issues, challenges and critical control points.
Hold project team members accountable for task completion, communication, and project success
Maintain all project documentation and reporting utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles as needed.
Maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, action plans and decisions.
Maintain project meeting minutes, agendas, progress reports and change requests Develop or utilize project KPI tracking documentation that supports stakeholder reporting as needed.
Elevate any vulnerabilities or risks to initiatives or projects and elevate to Chief Operations Officer as needed.
Serve as primary point of contact with clients on projects. Facilitate coordination and communication between and within project teams and partners, ensuring everyone is aligned.
Design project spaces in Microsoft Teams that allow for effective communication.
Collaborate with university partners and contribute ideas to the development of new project processes and procedures, driving quality and continuous improvement culture ideals.
Manage contracts including with CIO's Office and Accessibility Office.
Assist with the contract review process, participating in meetings and conversations.
Facilitate the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contractions.
Other duties as assigned.
