Veterinarian - Spay/Neuter Clinic

This position is based at our Spay/Neuter Clinic in West Allis.  Our team of veterinarians and support staff are committed, passionate, and fun. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing high-volume, high-quality, safe spay/neuter surgeries for public animals
• Ensuring safe, effective and efficient medical processes from check in to discharge, including follow up
• Vaccinating animals and providing quality medical screenings
• Monitoring the daily health of client and shelter animals
• Providing medical information to clients and answer questions as needed
• Train and support any WHS team members in all aspects of patient care and efficient/safe clinic practices, while maintaining a professional and positive approach
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• DVM degree and license required; high volume spay/neuter or shelter medicine experience preferred; mentorship and training provided

• Ability to partner with clients, staff, and volunteers from diverse backgrounds
