Job Description: The Disability Cultural Center's (DCC) program coordinator organizes small and large-scale programs and events for the DCC, manages daily administrative operational tasks, and facilitates mentor and allyship-development workshops. Essential elements of this position are understanding and supporting disabled students' sense of belonging and identity formation in their intersecting identities such as race, class, gender, and sexuality within the campus community. The Disability Cultural Center is located within the lntercultural Collective (IC) which is home to the Office of BiPOC Student Success (the Center for International Students, the Kessler Scholars Program and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center). The ideal candidate for this position will partner with the coordinators and staff members of the IC team to deliver intersectional programming and events to the Syracuse University campus community and the Syracuse community at large.

Responsibilities:
Assist and/or take lead on small and large-scale program & event planning, coordination, and facilitation, including but not limited to annual events.
Coordinate contracts for Disability Cultural Center speakers and various programmatic details.
Arrange and manage logistical elements for mentoring programs, affinity groups & workshops
Facilitate DCC affinity groups as needed.
Facilitate workshops in collaboration with IC Centers, the Barnes Center Health Promotion Office and other allyship development and educational outreach with campus and community partners.
Track attendance and participant feedback for DCC events and programs.
Provide informal support to student organizations for program planning, logistics, and evaluation.
Administrative Support of the DCC Office including but not limited to:
Budget management, Disability Cultural Center daily operations, Phone and in-person reception, Inventory and order supplies, Credit card reconciliation, Onboarding and orientation, etc.
Maintain and manage DCC archives and resource library.
Collaborate with staff to develop annual strategic communications plan.
Supervise development and distribution of publicity with campus and community partners.
Update University calendars to reflect Disability Cultural Center events & programs.
Develop and distribute weekly electronic newsletter.
Manage and update the Disability Cultural Center website; receive ongoing website design training.
Manage Disability Cultural Center social media platforms and all public relations outlets.
Represent the Disability Cultural Center at tabling events & information sessions.
Coordinate and participate in reporter interview requests.
Manage DCC listservs, for logistical support and program administration.
Manage the DCC's email account: sudcc@syr.edu.
Partner with coordinators and other staff of the Intercultural Collective team in support of the Center for International Services, LGBTQ Resource Center, and Multicultural Affairs programs and events.
Upkeep & maintenance of Intercultural Collective suite (Schine 132) in partnership with other IC coordinators.
Provide coverage with IC reception desk as needed.
Represent IC at university-wide opportunities (e.g., admissions events, family weekend, orientation).
Other duties as assigned.
