Job Description: The Talent Management Associate (TMA) provides a wide variety of logistical, administrative, and customer service support services to the Talent Management unit as well as administrative support to the Associate Vice President for Talent Management Strategy and HR Operations. This position has heavy interaction/communication with applicants, internal HR colleagues, and internal users of the University's applicant tracking system.
The TMA will participate in weekly recruitment meetings, initiate background checks, and assist with coordination and participation in recruiting events and programs. In addition, the role will provide support to the recruitment process across the University, including distribution of job requisitions to the recruitment team, recruitment administration tasks for faculty, temporary and bargaining unit positions, and system administration and reporting in the applicant tracking system.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the AVP Talent Strategy and HR Operations role, and the talent acquisition and organizational development teams.
Serve as a liaison with schools and colleges to support applicant tracking system administration duties for faculty and part-time instructor positions and assist with recruitment of temporary union roles across the University.
Provide guidance and technical support to hiring authorities and candidates. Troubleshoot, respond and resolve user support issues related to the applicant tracking system.
Work with hiring managers and HR colleagues to ensure job descriptions are clear, complete and within HR guidelines. Assist departments with ad placements to target desired audiences, collect ad copies from web social media sites, verify diversity outreach strategies have been implemented, and ensure reference checks and possible background checks have been completed.
Perform administrative duties associated with full life cycle employment such as: auditing new hire information in PeopleSoft compared with PeopleAdmin data, verifying that new hires and promotions in PeopleSoft have associated search or waiver information, and auditing accuracy of PeopleAdmin data imported into the Data Warehouse to ensure accountability and data integrity throughout the recruiting process, and processing full life cycle candidate flow information through the Applicant Tracking System and HRIS systems.
Assist recruitment team and hiring departments with data analytics and EEO reporting needs. Support the execution of external recruitment events.
Assists with coordination, planning and participation at recruiting events and community programs, to include preparing materials, representing the university at the event and post-event follow-up.
