Shelter Veterinarian (part-time)
The Shelter Veterinarian at the City of Minneapolis will provide veterinarian services on a part-time basis for animals that are located at the shelter and therefore under the care and responsibility of Minneapolis Animal Care & Control (MACC).Flexible hours, preferably Monday – Friday, optional on Saturday/Sunday.Starting salary is negotiable.FLSA: non-exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities • Examine, diagnose and provide routine and emergency treatment to animals at MACC, including vaccination and prescription of controlled substances, coordination of lab work, documentation and observation of treatments.• Provide sterilization and other necessary surgery to animals at MACC.
