Position OverviewAssociated Faculty in Art will teach Art 3024, Painting I, which is a studio-based art course. Must be able to teach students to explore the dynamics of painting. Teach students to make paintings using a variety of approaches with attention to color, light, form, paint application, space and composition. Must be able to apply written, oral, and visual communication skills and interpret and grade student work.Performance ObjectivesHelp students achieve the following goalsDevelop painting techniques using a variety of approaches to color, light, form, paint application, space and composition.Develop student practice, appreciate and interpret painting as related to various traditions.Edu
