City Manager
The Position The innovative, progressive, and welcoming City of Tigard, Oregon, is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and visionary leader in its next City Manager. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the City, provides administrative direction and management for all City functions, and guides policy decisions for the City Council, ensuring effective execution of Council direction and efficient delivery of services to the Tigard community. This position reports to the City Council. As the Chief Executive Officer of the City, the City Manager: Serves as the Budget Officer for the City’s $400+ million budget, with the goal of maintaining excellent financial stewardship and preserving Tigard’s AAA bond rating.
