The Business Office Specialist handles all aspects of processing US payroll for exempt/non-exempt Syracuse Abroad (SA) employees in the US and abroad, manages Accounts Payable for SA operating/program expenses (including all USD payments, as well as certain payments initiated overseas but paid via US system), including review of extensive travel expense accounts. This position manages the JP Morgan Chase (JPMC) online reconciliation and preparation of printed statements as well as the processing/reconciliation of short term/summer programs expenses, handles the processing of new hires (including student employees), at the Syracuse office and abroad, and is responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts and preparation of monthly operating expense report(s). Also maintains inventory of supplies for Syracuse home office.
