The College of Nursing seeks a certified nurse midwife to join a dynamic faculty team, teaching in the nurse midwifery and womans health nurse praticioner program. Faculty will prepare and deliver didactic course work, evaluate student learning, and work with preceptors and students overseeing experiential learning in the clinical setting. This position will be for a 12-month contract, in person, and either in the associated or clinical faculty line.
Title, FTE, supervisor, appointment length and job duties may vary.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requirements:
Masters degree required; Doctoral degree or current enrollment in doctoral program preferred; Ohio RN and APRN-CNM license required for applicants. At least two years of recent experience and current practice as a midwife is required.
Desired:
Experience in higher education preferred.
