Mentoring and Guidance: Serving as a resource for teachers, the Associate Head will provide strategic guidance in classroom management and student interactions. The role involves supporting teachers in developing responsive, inclusive teaching practices and acting as a bridge between faculty, students, and school leadership.
The Associate Head will also help the Middle School Head design and implement targeted professional development programs for Middle School faculty. This includes providing instructional coaching, facilitating collaborative learning opportunities, and supporting teacher growth through observation and feedback.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree in Education preferred
Experience in PS-8, minimum 5 years; administrative experience preferred
