Assistant Professor- Research Track - Division of Infectious Diseases
The Division of Infectious Diseases is actively recruiting an Assistant Professor (Research Track) with expertise in the area of M. tuberculosis and/or other pathogens of public health significance. A successful candidate is expected to have expertise in the field of tuberculosis (TB) as proven by their publication track record. Applicants with scientific background in epidemiology, as well as in the field of TB diagnostics will be preferable. Preferable applicants will need to have expertise in implementing and directing field studies in low and middle income countries (LMICs), and must be predisposed to travel to LMICs to oversee studies involving the phenotypic and genotypic diagnosis of drug susceptible (DS) and drug resistant (DR) TB, studies invol
