The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems at The Ohio State Universitys Max M. Fisher College of Business invites application for a full time, 100% FTE Lecturer. We seek candidates with expertise in taxation, financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and/or management information systems. The appointment is expected to begin in Autumn 2025.
The main tasks will include: teaching in different modalities (in-class, online, hybrid), curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, and service activities. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidates degree certification.
A Masters Degree in business and/or related field is a minimum requirement. A strong preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of teaching-related experience in the fields of taxation, financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, or management information systems. Ideal candidates should have a track record of excellent teaching at a top school, a record of service, prior interaction with industry, and an ability to teach multiple courses throughout the academic year (Autumn, Spring, and Summer semesters).
The monthly salary is competitive with leading research universities. The position is contingent on funding and university approval.
