Position Details:
Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision, perform custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and care of facilities within residence halls/apartments/dining. Successful candidates must be willing and able to perform duties associated with commercial cleaning, painting, spackling, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including operating industrial type cleaning equipment such as high speed buffers, burnishes, shampooers, and vacuum cleaners. Successful candidates must also be willing and able to clean restrooms, classrooms, residence halls, offices and/or similar facilities, as well as move heavy items such as tables, furniture, cleaning equipment, supplies, and other related cleaning devices. This position requires the ability to physically bend, stoop, lift and move items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift and climb and stand on ladders.
Schedule may be Monday - Friday, Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday. Hours may be 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 5:00 am - 1:30pm.
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:$3,167 to $3,811 | Range 32 (Steps E - M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
