The Opportunity:
As the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor for Washington State University Everett, you will serve as the confidential assistant to the Chancellor. You will act on behalf of the Chancellor as directed, and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies. You will independently coordinate, oversee, and perform a wide variety of administrative support activities on behalf of the Chancellor. In this role, you will be responsible for: directing, administering, and coordinating internal operational activities in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives as they are established by the Chancellor and the University; participating as part of the Chancellor's Senior Staff (Associate Vice Chancellors, Directors, etc.); and providing input on policy and procedural matters.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100%), permanent position. This position is overtime-exempt.
Monthly Salary: $6,756.29 - $8,175.11 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant field AND five (5) years of managing administrative support experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proven ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
Experience in maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Demonstrated effective supervisory or managerial experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated record of executive administrative support background.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with varying deadlines.
Experience in higher education.
Previous experience at WSU, including experience with WSU policies and procedures.
