Meat Safety Veterinarian Are you a veterinarian looking to make a difference in the safety of Wisconsin's meat products? Join the team at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as a Meat Safety Veterinarian! A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available to applicants who do not have any prior permanent full-time state service in the last five years.  The sign-on bonus would be split equally between the first paycheck ($1,000) and upon achievement of permanent status after successful completion of the 12-month probationary period ($1,000).
